Sustainability
We're not going to pretend we've got this all figured out. But we do think about it, and here's what we're actually doing.
Packaging Every order ships in a bag that doubles as a storage bag for the pants. No cardboard, no unnecessary filler, no tissue paper. We go paperless wherever we can across the business.
Materials Our fabrics are part recycled, part new. We're working towards using more recycled materials as better options become available without compromising the technical performance the pants need.
Shipping We ship with DPD, Evri, UPS and FedEx. DPD offsets 100% of carbon emissions on every parcel. Evri runs on 100% renewable electricity with over 50% of their van fleet electric. UPS and FedEx both offer carbon neutral shipping through verified offset projects.
Energy Our energy provider uses renewable sources.
Durability over disposability The most sustainable product is one you don't have to replace. Our pants are designed to last through seasons of hard riding.
Ethical Production
We only work with manufacturers we've vetted ourselves. Before any production starts, we request factory walkthroughs and video footage of our products being made — so we can see exactly where and how they're produced.
Our pants are made in China and Pakistan, in factories that hold ISO certification. From what we've seen, the facilities are clean, well run, and the workers are treated properly. We're a small brand and we don't have the resources of a large corporation, but we do look our suppliers in the eye before we work with them.
We're not going to make claims we can't back up. What we can say is that we take it seriously, we check, and we wouldn't work with a factory we weren't comfortable with.
